Dear leaders, as with many events we have a 10:1 ratio of single followers to single leaders 
– please give yourselves a jolt and help to make a few more followers happy

Important information about the event and registration
This is what awaits you:
- a classic Encuentro Milonguero from May 10th to 12th, 2024 in Berlin
- beautiful 300 square meter Wilhelminian style hall of the Peter Edel educational and cultural center
- over 20 hours of dancing on 5 milongas
- 5 international encuentro DJs
- snack buffet with fruit, sweet treats, salty snacks and savory snacks
- water, tea and a good selection of wine, beer, sparkling wine, coffee specialties, local specialties and other drinks at the bar
- a shared brunch on Sunday can be booked separately (approx. 15 €)
Registration starts on November 30th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. (highnoon) and remains open for 5 days. The link to register will be published here. When selecting participants, it is important to us to reach a nice mix of people from different regions and age groups. We pay attention to a balanced ratio of leaders and followers (50:50) as well as double role dancers. The number of participants is limited to 150 persons.
Registration and confirmation of participation:
Each person wishing to participate must submit a completed registration form to us. For couples, both partners must fill out a form.
Every successfully sent form results in an email: “We have received the form”. Both couple and individual registrations are possible.
Everybody who registered will receive a response from us within 2-3 weeks.
Each participant will receive a preliminary confirmation email with our account details. We kindly ask you to transfer the participation fee of 150 euros within 2 weeks. If the event fee is not paid within 2 weeks, the place will be offered to a person on the waiting list.
Cancellation:
Participants confirmed by us can withdraw until March 10, 2024 and will receive a full refund. We will allocate vacant places to those interested on the waiting list. After this date, a refund of the fee is only possible if the place can be reassigned.
If one partner of a couple cancels, the other participant also loses their place, unless we can replace him/her with someone from the waiting list to ensure that the balance of roles is maintained.

The Registration for the Encuentro “Osito Milonguero” starts on November 30, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. / noon.
We give great importance to a balanced mix of followers/leaders and have a maximum number of 150 participants. Fast registration is not the only thing that counts.

Dear close embrace lovers,
It was worth the wait … There will be another Encuentro “Osito Milonguero Berlin” in 2024 
!
We have found a new venue – similar in style and features but more central – and are now starting with the detailed planning for the event.
Save the date: May 10th to 12th 2024 (after Ascension Day)!
Expect further information in November and the registration in the first half of December.
