We are busy planning and organising and wanted to give you a short update on the participants:
You can look forward to an international group of participants from 23 countries with an excellent balance of roles.

Important information about registration
What awaits you
- classical Encuentro Milonguero from 29 September to 02 October 2022 on the outskirts of Berlin
- the beautiful 400 sqm ballroom of the “Evangelisches Johannisstift”
- 23 hours of dancing on 5 Milongas
- 5 international DJs
- Snack buffet with fruit, sweet treats, salty snacks and savory appetizers
- Non-alcoholic drinks like water, tea, coffee and juice
- A farewell dinner on Sunday can be booked separately.
Registration will start on 22/02/2022 at 12:00 noon. The link to the registration will be published here. The selection of participants will not follow the order of registration. It is important to us to create a nice mix of people from different regions and age groups. We pay attention to a balanced ratio of leaders and followers (50:50) as well as double-role dancers. The number of participants will be limited to 160.
Corona Notice:
Due to the Corona situation and based on current regulations, we have to plan the event as a 2G event. This means that only proven vaccinated or recovered people can participate. We categorically exclude an event with masks. We therefore ask you to make hotel and travel bookings only with flexible cancellation options.
Registration and confirmation of participation:
Each person who wishes to participate must send us a completed registration form.
Each successfully sent form results in an email: “We have received the form”.
Both couple and individual registrations are possible. We will ensure balance offollowers and leaders. Within 2-3 weeks, each participant will receive a confirmation email. In this confirmation email our bank account details will be given. We ask you to transfer the amount mentioned in the email within 2 weeks. If within 2 weeks the contribution to the event is not transferred, a person from the waiting list will be offered the place.
Cancellation:
Participants confirmed by us can cancel until June 30, 2022 and receive a full refund. We will give vacant places to interested persons from the waiting list. After this date, a refund of the fee is only possible if your place can be reallocated. If one partner of a pair cancels, the other participant also loses their place, unless we can move someone up from the waiting list to maintain the balance of leaders and followers. If we have to cancel the event due to local regulations or bans, participants will be asked if they want to transfer their place to the replacement event or get their money back.

The Registration for the Encuentro “Osito Milonguero” starts on February 22, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. / noon.
We give great importance to a balanced mix of followers/leaders and have a maximum number of 160 participants. Fast registration is not the only thing that counts.
